S'en est allé dans l'Amour et la tendresse le 20 septembre 2011 rejoindre son fils Jeannot, après avoir voué son existence à partager sa passion, l'Ame Montagne, avec ses proches et sa respectée clientèle. Il nous a appris à nous dépasser dans l'humilité.

Mr. Jean Gaudin had a long and hopefully beautifull life in the mountains.
I wish his family and his friends strength and many happy and warm memories.
Next time when I will be in the Val d'Herens I will pay my respect to him by visiting the cemetery in Evolene and look for his grave.
Tonight in Amsterdam I will burn a candle for Jean Gaudin.
